I thought I was awake

I thought I was awake
I was sleeping
Sleeping walking through life
Eyes wide open
Can’t believe all that I have been missing and wasn’t even aware of my blindness
Blinded by the noise, stress and the chase of nothing
No more I’m awake I’m alive and done with just trying to survive
It’s all too short it’s not a game it’s journey that some of us will walk through asleep such a shame and I only had my myself to blame
