There are many interpretations of what exactly meditation is. Most people think it’s the act of sitting somewhere quiet and that you have to empty your mind and never have a thought. That is only one part of what it can be. Meditation can be washing the dishes. looking at nature, remembering a happy time, and just breathing. The point of it is to still yourself. To unplug from the have to, need to, mentality and see life as yours to experience. It’s being mindful of the moment you are in and cherishing as well as feeling it. Not needing the past or future moments and time to exist to enjoy the one you are in. Here is a well written short explanation of this concept.
